I Need Help!

im new to this tropical fish stuff and just recently got my self a tank, i have a male and female platie, 2 female fighter fish, 4 panda loach and 2 worm thingz lol... i fort y female platie was pregnant a couple of days ago so put her in a breeding net but no sign of babies so let her out, but last night i found 6 babies in the tank being chased by the fighter fish, i removed the babies but i honestly dont kno how to make sure they survive as i would love to watch them grow. please help x

hi,
if poss put them in the breeder net for now, feed them very fine crushed uo flake 2-3 times a day, put a small live plant in if poss for cover for the fry. only when they are big enough not to fit in anyones mouth they can join main tank. donna.

fanxz alot 4 yr help, i already have done al thows thingz sed, but im a bit conserned as 2 of them have escaped bk into the tank and both mum and dad and the 2 female fighter fish r constantly havin ago and tryin 2get to the babies, do u fink they wil stress the babies out??

also when wil the mum bcome pregnant again and does any1 kno how long the gestation pieriod i 4 platies?? x

hi,
the female will give birth every 4 weeks, if shes not stressed,
there could be a few in your main tank survive if there are lots of hideing places,
keep some bushy live plants in with the fry so they can hide within the net,
