I Need Help Please

i have a maidenhead aqutics test kit that im using where you have to add drops of chemicals to the tank water i have just tested the ph and it is 9 where 2 days ago it was 7.5 help everything is going wrong x

i did an 80% water change this morning and i have just tested the water again and the ph is still 9 the amonia is 0.5 and the nitrite is between 0 and 0.5 x

What is the pH out of your tap?
 
 
Do several large water changes to see if they will help bring your pH down.

hi i did another 80% water change as the amonia had gone up to 1 again my ph out of the tap is between 7 and 7.5 i think as the colour of the water after testing doesnt match any of the colour results on the chart but its closest to between 7 and 7.5

Can you think of anything that could be causing the pH to rise? Could you provide a picture of the tank?
