alot of general info really. But what seems to come out of all that is that yes it is possible to breed them but difficult. I think you'd need to get a good sized group of the same sized fish and try and end up with a male and a few females, - they'd need to be quite mature to breed so might be quite an undertaking.. a large tank too!
There are several fish which don't regulary breed in the aquarium - I dream of breeding clown loaches which have only one recording breeding in the uk. The way they get into shops is often people will catch wild youngsters, sometimes growing them on abit before importing them around the world.
Hope this helps you alittle!

it may be worth doing a search on the commercial side of Rainbow Shark, breeding. though i don't know, it sometimes just the same process only smaller. i did the same thing and came up with a fantastic site that had breeders and the hobbyist all in together, i know have a fair grasp of the principles of mass farming, for my chosen animal, and haven't even got a pond. lol

thank you both for your help and i hope you have fun experimented with the clown loaches hope you can breed then and then sell them for good money thank you once again cya
bye
