I just created a new site and would very much like people to look at it and give me comments on how to make it better. It's not finished by any means but i need comments so i can build and improve the site.
The address is fishbuddy.weebly.com. Thanks!

Looks alright, nice and clean - I'd lose the google adsense ad's as they really cheapen it - I see sites like that and often get out quick as most are setup just to trick you into clicking ads.

Try to get the site estalished first, then when you have a regular supply of visitors to the site - the look into advertising methods.

Hi, have just checked the site, it looks good, not easy at the start is it, I have a new site aswell, please check it out.

That page makes my first attempt look amatureish :lol: That is a very nice site, well layed out and nicely presented. Just take a look at the code though, there are a lot of major mark-up errors in the medication page I ran through the W3C code validator, that appear to be as a result of missing a closing tag on an element. In english that means you are missing the bit surrounded by the
Code:
[b][/b]
;

Code:
 <a href = www.asite.com>Text to show in the hyperlink[b]</a>[/b]

Though the missing bit may not nessisarily be a link to another page. I'd run the source file via the W3C validator and set it to auto-correct of it can, and all the errors and warnings it throws will just fo away. The W3C validator can be found here. While most browsers will attempt to recover the page from such an error for you (the page works in Firefox for e.g.) but the browser can't nessisarily correctly guess where the closing tag was supposed to be each time, leading to weired results on some or all browsers. It would be good to get into the practice of running your pages through the validator when you finish coding up said page, just to huver up such errors :good:

All in all though, a very good first site, well don :nod:

Well, ive had a look over and you have broken 1 big rule of the internet. All of you cichlid bio's have been plagiarised from http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/ and you havn't even linked back. They have every right to sue you etc.. Id get it fixed and make your own rather than steal others.

Looks too plain in my opinion, the layout is very generic and it seems you have just used a given template.
