I Need A Volunteer/volunteers!

Okay, in the interest of making this forum a bit more...interesting, I've come up with the idea to have weekly or bi-monthly "interest" discussions/debates. Like Swordtail sex change, are Endlers and Guppies really different species, etc. They could be pinned at the top of the forum for easy finding.

This is where I need your help. Since I have to have my horses ready to fly to CA for a week in August, plus compete with them locally, I don't have a whole bundle of time. I'd love it if someone/ a few people would be willing to take charge of these discussions. Like find the topic, write out a good starting post (Not just like "Swordtail sex change. Discuss." but something with a few opinions, maybe quotes from well-known names), and get the discussion going.

Come on, you know you want to volunteer...

while you are on the subject of improving the forum how about pinning a birth announcment thread so that you dont have to sieve through hundreds of posts just to find 1 intresting one

oh now i get it. sure ill be happy to start one up . im free all summer so i can post one whenever suits. imo smurfy i dont think that would work. one of the main aspects of the livebearer forum is the announcement of fry and following discussions , i think if that was taken away the forum would slow down too much. just my 2 cents

Go for it. We can even alternate people if others want to volunteer.

Smurfy - I don't like that idea much, to be honest. It creates a friendly atmosphere when people congratulate each other on their fry, and the new parents know SOMEONE actually cares about them. I've only seen 3, maybe 4 birth announcements in the last 5 days, so that's less then 1 per day.

I can help too if you need it. I cant start for a weeks as the first week or two I'm in Dallas I will be busy with some stuff, but I can start anytime after for the summer and a little bit during the school year.
