getting too much of a bug for big fish lately and when i say big , boy do i mean biiiiig! another fiah ive been drooling over the prospect of keeping after seeing some immense tanks with them in on that monster fish site ( you know what i mean) is arapaima gigas . i mean just imagine the impact of a beast like that . takes the wow factor to a whole new level and beyond!!!!!

yeah they are great. my 28g bowfront has a 70 gallon filter. i dont think ive even seen a 70 gallon tank before, and the filtration is over twice what i need. nice.

I know what you mean. Ive always wanted a Arapaima ever since i saw them on a fishing program. I would love to have enough room to keep a Red tailed catfish aswell.

Theres someone on youtube who has a 15,000 and 50,000g tank, It would be amazing to have the room and money to do it

twice the filtration you technicly need is pretty much ideal .

with a tank that size, you would need to empty the water into a lake and that lake would be very polluted! how do you cycle 20,000 gallons? oh btw i have a 40,000 tank - its called a swimming pool.

id get in the aquarium builders that do the huuuuge tanks for public aquariums and have like a big huge flooded forest . oh dear gotta stop i think i just wet myself
