I Might Only Be A Newby, But...

The reason we move threads is to make information easier to find when using the search function, if you want information on amphibians then you only need to search the relevant forum rather than search the whole site, also more experienced hobbiests tend to specialise in one area of fish keeping and to a point begin to ignor other aspects, i know that i never even read topics in the corydoras livebearer or betta forums and rarely outside of oddballs and other catfish, so if you want correct information from those with experience in the field it is better if your post is in the correct forum.
Hold on CFC you were on the betta forum earlier this week :shifty:

he's only there for the fights

 to be honest it was an accident, i came across a post in the "view new posts" list asking about sponge filters so i replied and then realised it was in bettas

Very insightful, I shall have to inwardly digest all that but, on reflection, I feel I stand corrected on the subject. I'll just have to learn to mentally adjust myself when switching between forums!

Thanks for not juming down my throat though guys, appreciate the honesty and reasoning rather than a "Just deal with it, pal!" attitude, which is more in line to what I was expecting. This thread has surprised me! ;)

I wonder if the person asking took your advice after he saw your avatar...
