Ive been tempted to fill a few old water tanks from work up with floating plants down at the bottom of the garden I must admit. Once I’ve retired it may be an idea.

Wouldn't be a bad side gig, would it? I've thought about it. My problem is it's so cold here I would only be able to ship about four months out of the year.

why not grow all sorts of plants and sell them on ebay. You can make lots of money selling aquarium plants.

I did. But I am bogged down with a lot of work (mcdonalds) and school (6.5 credits) so I end up selling them locally and shipping to people on facebook

Maybe they have a large pond or number of tanks they are trying to grow the plant in.

My rainbowfish would eat a 2 litre bucket load of duckweed every week, silver dollars do the same and some cichlids do too.

Every couple of week I toss out several handfuls of Salvinia minima from my tank. Just looked on amazon. There are people selling 10 plants for about $5 dollars! I probably through out about $60 dollar worth yesterday.
