I Love/hate Spring

I love Srping! Warmer temps., longer days, all the nice colors, all the lovely scents.

Weeding the planting beds, preparing the garden for planting., deep pruning the shrubs, sharpening mowerblades, killing fire ants, and pollen, pollen, pollen! I Hate Spring!

I do like Spring because it brings higher temperatures and it's the time of year when I get to find out if my Koi have frozen to death or not. Thankfully I don't suffer from allergic reactions in Spring; it gets me in late Summer instead!

I love Spring too as it means the worst of Winter is gone and I literally get a spring in my step!
It's like suddenly the light has been switched on and I hadn't realised I'd been in the dark! lol

Can't say how the pollen gets over there, but 100 parts per million is high. This morning it was2,093.
Next the pine trees open up and everything turns yellowish green.

Oh, I forgot to add checking the irrigation.
