I Lost My Beautiful Edgar Today

My handsome boy began laying at the bottom of the tank the other day. Water was fine and saw nothing apparent. Added some aquarium salt. He was still coming up to eat until this morning. I checked on him a couple of hours later and he was gone. I can usually figure these things out but this one caught me off guard. RIP, sweet Edgar.

I’m OK, just in shock. Wasn’t expecting it and have no idea what happened. Found nothing on him so it was an internal issue. No bloating,

He was. I had only had him 7 months. A week ago he was fine.
