Blue Lobster
Fish Crazy
It seems that when all is said and done Salt and Temperature are common cures and effective as any medication if done right for the right amount of time. Since I have corys that are copper sensitive, and I don't want a blue dyed tank I am trying an alternate cure.
I even bought a specific gravity meter to test salt levels, right now they are just detectable. Am I obscessed?
In a nutshell, a few days (some say up to a 10 days) at 88 degress or more and a little salt goodbye ich. Here is what put me on that path
"Raising temp to 88 degrees is usually an effective cure"

Says Heat and Salt work most times.

Say heat works but may stress fish.

So far the fish are showing no signs of stress, the angels even seem more peaceful since the temp bump. The Balas are the only ones with white spots are not flashing/rubbing as frequently.
I will bump this thread when it's gone and I can say
"See high temp and salt works."
