I have a betta, and I got some water conditioner. It says on the bottle: Tetra Aquasafe, Makes tap water safe for fish, for fresh and salt water aquaria. I have a tank around a gallon, and I have live plants. How much should I use? On the bottle it says 5 ml for each 10 litres, but i'm i'm not sure exactly how much. A little help here?

so....5 ml, for each 2.5 gallons, yours being a gallon, you'll only need about 2-3 ml,does it have a raised mark on the side of the container? You'll only need half or less of each raised mark, but it's really nothing to worry about if you go over, I don't even measure,I just squirt it in.

I just put it in right away, and it is a dark blue color. Now, it's just sitting on the gravel. I can see it cause it's a very dark blue. But it's not moving or dissolving. Just sitting on the gravel. Is that ok?

 blue huh?

I usually put it in as I'm filling the bowl in the sink,so it gets mixed up quickly. Give it a stir and you should be good to go

edit to clarify~ Fill a clean bowl with clean water and add the dechlorinator ,let it sit a minute THEN scoop the water out of your bowl into your fishes tank
