I just got a pair of Bolivian Rams

They are quite small (i-1.5 inch) and the guy at the lfs didn't know which sex they were at that size.

I want two pairs so I just took two so when I get the other 2, I'll match them up.

They've been in the tank for about an hour now and they explorer it slowly, always staying near the other one.

I put in 2 pvc pipes 6 inches long for them to make a little home. I hope they'll use them

Males are larger with longer pectoral fins. The pectoral fins on my male strech past the start of the anal fin while the females does not. There are lots of threads here on sexing these fish, try using search as some methods are not the same for all.

I think I do have a couple based on what you said!

the larger one has longer pectoral fins than the smaller one
also the anal is more of a pointed shape on the larger one as the smaller one is rounder
