I even convinced my mom to get 4 for her 55 gal that she got at wally world like 5 years ago. I love the Gold Rams as well, but I haven't had good luck with those. I think that 55 would be awesome as a cichlid tank. Maybe ask Freshmike if he has any suggestions. Good Luck Tiff
