I Have Lost My First Fish...

sorry for your loss.

i had a silver dollar jump into a breeder net with a recovering blackwidow tetra last night, let silver dollar out earlier and now it's been attacked, god knows why but it's back in another breeder net, silly fish.

One time, my... I think shes' my half cousin? Maybe.. well, anyway, she got one neon tetra from school for making a good freshwater ecosystem and we didn't have a tank to put it in, so we put it in a tiny little golfish bowl, like 1/3 gallon. with some gravel and a plastic plant. We did a water change about once every month, and once tiem we filled the bowl up a little bit more than usual, thinking it would be happier. We found the fish dead on the table the next day, he must've jumped out. I can't believe the fish lived that long, though! There was no filter, no heater, no other fish! It was so weird.

Sorry to hear about the Harlequin! :(

I once had four Peacock Gobies in my tank and all of a sudden, two went missing. I lifted the tank decor and went through the plants but couldn't locate them. After a few days I gave up, only for one of the missing Gobies to come swimming casually across the front of the tank. Still no sign of the other missing Goby... until one of my cats found his dried corpse down the side of my tank cabinet.
