Also known as a gold fathead minnow. The rosey red is found in Iowa and other parts of the U.S. They are a bait fish, and some say out of the egglayers they are the easiest to spawn. These fish grow to about 3in. And can live in pretty much any water type, room temp. is fine.

I'm keeping all of them. I was going to buy another 75 gal. But I've decided to build a tank for them. I'm not really convinced that I will have to move them anytime soon though. There growing fast but they all seem to be getting along fine. I had one problem when I put 2 Oscars in the tank with them though. The Oscars didn't make it. I bought all my fish when they were about a inch long. Now my largest jack, con and jag are just about 3 in. The Oscars were the same size but they got exicuted in about a week. Damn they were some good looking fish.
