some one said bottled water was bad for bettas ,i use bottled water and i have yet to run into problems...why should i not use bottled water?

Bottled water is less controlled than municipally supplied water. City water, by law, has to be tested at certain intervals, these laws are more strict than those for bottled water.

Test the bottled water for hardness, some is very soft. Hardness stabilizes ph. That is the reason ro water has to be reconstituted, if you use it without adding anything you will have severe ph swings, a bad thing for fish.

Tap water is much cheaper than bottled water. I get 1,000 gallons of tap for what I pay for 3 1/2 gallons of bottled water.

Do you mean hot water? Or do you have to pay for cold water too? I have never heard of that, which is what prompted me to ask. I am pretty sure my landlords do not have to pay for my water.

$3.09 per 1,000 gallons, if I remember my last water bill correctly. That covers the water supply & sewage, I pay for the gas that runs the water heater.

my tap water is horrible even if i used declor i still saw alot of amonia and we have high amounts of copper in the water so i wouldent do it..im having best luck w/ bottled

Depends what it is. TBH, a lot of bottled water comes from a public source. There is no law against you bottling up tap water and seelling it as long as you don't make false claims, eg, botted fresh from the river etc.
