I have a question

In my cichlid tank I need to know the max I can put in a 55 gallon tank I already have 10 fish in it so far they are growing everyday around 4 inches now. How many more could I add to the tank to slow down the fighting all the time???

what kind of fish chilids do you have?you maybe way overstocked as it is.

depends on what the cichlids are and what the male female ratio is.

If you have mbuna's you can easily fit another 5 or 6 in the tank. Mbuna's need to be overstocked or they will eventually kill each other. Of course you need to make sure you have adequate filtration to make up for the overstocking!

they male female ratio is another factor. i would first determine what species you have, what the male female ratio is and then go from there. packing a bunch of fish in and overstocking the tank is not necessarily going to help out with aggression.
