hi,
does anyone have any suggestions on a coldwater fish that:
1) is cheap
2) is a coldwater fish
3) is not hard to maintain
4) eats mosquito larvae
5) is big enough for a 200g
6) is not rare

all of those terms have to ring true until you suggest one =)

Guess if you post your location someone might be able to point you in the right direction but your best option is goldfish although id say youve left it rather late in the year to be adding them to the pond

4 more years

god help us as well ;)

arent goldfish too slow to catch mosquito larvae? i live in australia (victoria, melbourne) and i dont think mosquito fishes or wcmm can withstand the coldness of my pond..

oh, ok  thanks for the advice

the comets at my lfs are $2.90 aus, around $3.50 us..

i think i'll get them :D

ive read somewhere that common goldfish are also called 'comets'..
