I Have 1 Month Old Guppy Fry.

how often should i feed them and how much? dont want to over feed them or even underfeed them.

i no u have to keep water very clean and your supposed to feed it 3 times a dya with small portions

Hi. You can actually purchase fry food...it has all vitamins and fattening stuff in it to help promote health and growth. I feed my fry 3 times a day. Morning noon and night. If you miss the in between feed its ok. I have at least 100 fry of guppies and platys mixed and all different age groups. So I put a couple of pinches each feed. Some people recommend feeding fry up to 6 times a day. I wouldn't go there...fry have little tums. Perhaps you could give a small pinch and if it go's fast give them a little more. I feed all my fish small portions and then a little more. Just so it dosnt fall to the bottom and get wasted. I feed my adult fish in main tank twice a day using same method...except they get a wide variety of food, live, frozen, flake & pellet. At the moment I have 4 female gups all dropping babies, it started a few days ago, its still happening . I had my black female drop 5 days ago...and then again yesterday. Its FRY Madnesssssssssssssssss!!! I love it! I had heaps of fry before this and finally my breeding stock are healthy and fry are a booming! YAY!!! All my current adult fish have been treated for pretty much everything as I had many different sick gups and the remaining ones are the ones that survived disease and treatment over the past few months. I also think one of my teenage fry who survived in the main tank just dropped fry of her own. Its so exciting. Cant wait to see color development....thats so much more exciting.
