Haha, I've been asked before about selling, never been made a serious offer though.

I think it's a male as he has 7-10mm odontodes on his cheeks.

I would like to do sand, but how do live plants feel about it? right now I have flourite. Do the cories actually dig in it??

Sand? Within 24 hours of being in my tank my pandas churned up every square inch of bottom. The little depressions their rooting left make the bottom of my tank look like a golf ball.

try play sand what you put in sandpit from argos, tescos ect really cheap and its non toxic
just make sure you wash it out first loads rinse it under tap for a while then rinse it again
dont put it into tank first it has loads of foam comes off it rinse rinse and rinse again dunt take too long
ive put coral sand as well with mine and it looks really nice

I have some black flourite sand arriving by UPS today. They just crush the flourite down finer. Got it from BigAl's

The fastest way that I've found to wash sand is to fill a bucket about 1/3 full of sand then go out in the yard and run the hose full blast into the bucket of sand. Use the hose to stir right through the sand and churn it up good. As the water gets near the top of the bucket, dump the water and keep on rinsing. When the dirt stops coming off, in 5 or 10 minutes, the sand is clean enough to put in a tank.
