well, i was supposed to get some tsunami bettas from yeevia...everyone got theirs yesterday, except me. i didn't think too much of this as the last time i got a priority mail package of fish it took 3 days...well we got our mail today and NO FISH!!!!!!  :grr:

i don't have a tracking number, but called the post office anyways and they were no help, and told me never to ship fish priority (no help now!!!!) and i am just sooooo ticked off, cause i was so excited to bring them home tonight...i hope they make it

now i have to come in here (work) on saturday to wait for the mail delivery...unless we get a second delivery this afternoon...here's hoping!

tell me about that!!!!

My fish were ok when I got them even though they got in 4 days late because the shipping company is closed on weekends. Bettas can endure rough conditions. Just be very patient when you receive them and they should be fine.

I really hope they make it!

I feels so bad. I know something is going to happen when i send them off. I am mad at myseif.
I just send you the receipt to your email. Lets hope for the best. Rediculous priority mail supposed to be 2 days. now is the 3 days. They lied!

the bad news is, no bettas in the mail today, and no way to find out where they are, as the post office can't track the package without a tracking number (unless it is 14 days late!)
the good news is they could still be alive...i am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed. they are supposed to be delivered to my work, so i will have to go there and check for the mail.
i am sad, i was hoping to get them all settled in tonight...their tanks look very empty without them... :(

EDIT: as of 2:30pm saturday, still no fishies. i am so sad...monday is a holiday, so i don't think they will be delivered then either...poor little guys

well i left work at 3pm, no fish...

i convinced my bf to bring me back there at midnight, and the box was there!!! fingers crossed.i have no idea wat i'll find!!!

well, it was a pretty sad night last night..out of 5 bettas only 2 made it to me alive after being in the box over 4 days. the 2 tsunami babies, thailand and sumatra are in their tank now, but very lethargic, just hanging in the plants. i don't know it they will make it. there is a little salt in the tank and i added some indian almond leaf. i tried to feed some frozen blood worms and they wouldn't touch them. if anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way...i will take pics if they perk up.

on a funny note, i woke up first thing this am to check on them and sumatra had somehow gotten through the divider and was hanging out with thailand...i separated them...they were basically just ignoring each other anyways

OH! SO glad to hear they arrived! :kana:

LOL  Malaysia jumped the divider too, funny thing but like you said Tsunami just ignored her. Funny no?

i don't know how she got through, there really is no space between the divider and the cover!!

she still has not eaten anything. thailand did take a few bloodworms a little while ago!! :D

It will take a day or so for them to recover..sorry yours didn't make it either i only lost one out of three, the other i left in the bags for two hours floating in the tanks so the water heated up slowly, then released them, they are both fine now and eating after three days, so don't worry to much and don't expect them to eat straight away just give them time to recover, just imagine yourself traveling for four days in a car with no heater in cold weather the same distance they have come on a very bumpy road so your jolted every few hours......would you feel like eating or resting......... :D

Awww sorry some of them didn't make it :-(

GRRRR! to the shipping company :grr:

Amazing how they can jump around dividers and stuff. They just wanted to be together
