I hate my "colleague"!!!!!

he thinks he will make manager! yeah right. thanks for your support and I will definitely see what I can do!

Really, this is a fish forum, but even if ti was any other form of work (not fish based or involved any form of animal), his work ethics would make this guy eligable for the sack. In doing what he has done, he has also inflicted unwanted and uneccassary to staff and live stock. This guy is shallow and has no respect, he does not deserve to work with people in general....
perhaps this should be disscussed discreetly with some TRUSTED colleagues and then a chat with the boss.... just a thought.

thats so sad! the poor betta being stressed because of personal issues. thats just horrible. he should be fired! Maybe when your not at work you could hit him, lol.

chances are, if he has done that to your fish, he has done it to customers who he doesnt feel like dealing with. Definately tell the boss, theres no way they would want him around, he is a liability :grr:

Just a thought Plecoperson
I could send a letter of complaint in about your colleague, give me his name and the address of the lfs and I will see what I can do.
I live in Wakefield west yorkshire but can pretend to live nearer or have visited whilst visiting a friend, I could say that I was looking at the fish and saw this particular person dealing with a customer who wanted a couple of fish and then state that I was glad it was not me he was serving as the way he handled the fish and the lack of brown bag and stress coat and the attitude of the said sales person was disgusting.
I am sorry to hear about your fish, speak to your manager about this person, he does not deserve a job with animals or around people, the kind of job he does requires someone who is customer focused whether the customer be a colleague or member of public and that person needs to do the job with a smile whether they like it or not!!!!

That is a fantastic idea, definatly find some people you feel comfortable knowing where you work and have them send in 'complaints'. After a couple of weeks of those theres no way this guy will continue as he is.

Your other fish just probably stressed the betta out. When its used to living its life by itself and then all the sudden its put in a surrounding with a current in the water and other fish its not the best combination on the stress.

Exactly what Ben said, don't do anything childish to get him back, you'll just be stooping down to his level. Try to bring it up with your manager, and see if there were any other complaints.. he sounds like a shallow selfish person.
