go to Boots website and order in to your local store a bottle of ammonia, this is what ive used in the past.

it really needs to be as pure ammonia as poss so 95% is probably right.

Is that John in your avatar, sorry to read you lost him

Cracking tank, I looked at those when I was getting a tank but decided that maintenance was going to be an issue for me as I'm not very tall and therefore have short arms and I couldn't reach to the bottom but I really would love to have got one.

That's a whopping piece of wood you have there.

Very nice.

I'm after the 330l or hopefully the 420L if I can fit it in. Just need a way to get it past the better half first? :dunno:
:) I persuaded my better half to let me get a 450 litre rio 400 but now I want a bigger tank :) she has agreed to let me get a 600 litre 6x2x2 as well as keep the Rio 400 and my 150 litre but I'm trying to push my luck for an 800 litre 8x2x2. She will give in soon enough :)

If it wasn't for the fact it was attached to a piece of oak furniture, I wouldn't stand any chance whatsoever. :hey:

I found this stuff on eBay called 'Kleen Off' it says it's fine just wanted to check. Suitable?

p.s It says it's 95% ammonia  Does it mean 9.5%?

TekFish :good:

I use Kleen Off, it's fine. Yes 9.5%. Everyone says the boots website, but I have never been able to find it on there? Haven't found it anywhere in my area anywhere, so I bought on ebay as well.

Heheh, no it's not John in my avatar. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, not this time :good:

Also if anyone can identify the plants [Not the ones on bogwood] because it didn't say at the store.

Thanks, TekFish :good:

Sorry to hear about the cory :(

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this (just had a quick scan through), but if you're just upgrading the tank and /or have cycled media from other tanks, you can just fill this new filter with that media (or use your old filter on the new tank if possible), giving a cycled tank instantly. If you don't have enough to spare for this tank, using some will give the cycle a boost and should take less time :good:
