A while ago i posted about glass catfish. I put on the wrong name, i was in a hurry see! It seems i got two Kryptopterus cryptopterus, so srry for wasting your time doggfather. Any info about these fish. I know basics like feeding and water but any in depth info would be appreciated. Cheers! :D

I think the common name is Blue Sheatfish, they reach up to 8" and are a schooling fish that should be in a group of three or more. A relatively peaceful fish, that can co-excist with many other species. Apparently they breed in the rainy season in their native country which is around June to August time, the introduction of cooler water triggers spawning.

:D CHEERS! Thing is ive only got two... they seem fine and are peacful like you say, do i need to get more or will they be ok?

How big is the tank? They would be better in a larger group but you have to consider that they are not small fish reaching 8". :)

Yeah, these were my first fish so they were kinda on an impulse buy  my dealer had only got two in from someone else. i don't realy have room fo anymore. These don't seem to grow too fast but if they do i know someone with a larger tank who wil have them. :(
