I got it wrong (again!)

A while ago i posted about glass catfish. I put on the wrong name, i was in a hurry see! It seems i got two Kryptopterus cryptopterus, so srry for wasting your time doggfather. Any info about these fish. I know basics like feeding and water but any in depth info would be appreciated. Cheers!

I think the common name is Blue Sheatfish, they reach up to 8" and are a schooling fish that should be in a group of three or more. A relatively peaceful fish, that can co-excist with many other species. Apparently they breed in the rainy season in their native country which is around June to August time, the introduction of cooler water triggers spawning.

CHEERS! Thing is ive only got two... they seem fine and are peacful like you say, do i need to get more or will they be ok?

How big is the tank? They would be better in a larger group but you have to consider that they are not small fish reaching 8".

Yeah, these were my first fish so they were kinda on an impulse buy my dealer had only got two in from someone else. i don't realy have room fo anymore. These don't seem to grow too fast but if they do i know someone with a larger tank who wil have them.
