I Got A Bubble Tank Today For My Goldfish

12 gallon really isn't big enough for them to live healthily.. chances are they'd survive as goldfishes are very very hardy, but they'd not reach the length of life they should.. Have you though about keeping a differant species that doesnt require as much space? white clouds or zebra danios (both being sub tropical) for example?

30 gallon would be OK for a long time.. ie a 3ftx18x18 tank, the tank alone should cost around £30.. a filter for that would be around £35 (fluval 4 internal for example). Substrate .. £10.
