I'm scrolling through eBay hopelessly looking at different fish and being jealous at people keeping different fish... knowing that I have limitations.. But I digress..

Then I come by this monstrosity.... I can hear them scream for help..

I don't disagree, this scenario is likely. But it's horrible either way, I hate how fish are like objects but things like cats or dogs are better protected. It's awful.

One answer is space. Many breeders have more fish then they have space for but make up for it by the work they put into those fish. Constant water changes, solid feeding to make them grow faster etc..a fish room for most of us only has so much space so it has to be made up for by the quality of the care to make sure these fish stay healthy. I'm not saying it's right but it is common

Yeah, I completely understand issues that come with breeding fish. It's just sad to out so many fish into a small confined space
