The cats knocked my Dallas brown tarantula's cage off my comp desk and set her free once and I found her the same day.... they did it again about 2 weeks ago and I couldn't find her. I had assumed they'd killed her and left her corpse somewhere where I couldn't locate it, but I found her today!!!! OMG, I'm so happy... she looks no worse for wear either, aside from a bald patch on her abdomen where she kicked off some hairs. I found her while I was straightening the rug, she was wedged between it and the door to the patio :hyper: . Just in time too, my mom was coming for a visit and arrived an hour later!
This is her:

Oooh! I leeerrrrve Tarnatulas! They're sooooooooooo fuzzy! I've got one of the little bug biters myself. She's a sweetie.

Baby Chaco gold stripe and Costa Rican zebra tarantulas (and getting a baby greenbottle blue Monday, probably;) bark and stripe-tailed devil scorpions; hognose, garter, and African house snakes; cat geckos; Odontodactylus scyllarus and O. havanensis mantis shrimps... that's about it for oddballs :p. I have cats, a dog, and parrotlets too.

Has she shed recently? if not least the patch will go soon. and she might look a bit better after that. I wish i still had my spiders...
