I found fry! OMG

I din't know anyone was ready to drop. I found 3 or 4 this morning. Can't find them now. I hope they are just hiding really well. Here's a picture the little dot is truly a fry I swear.

I didn't see the fry after the first day, I thought they became snacks.
Then last night there they were!!!

there are at least 4 or 4 of them!

Platy! Born about 10 days after moving to the new 55 gallon. I guess the fish are happy with the new tank. This evening I was able to count 5 for sure!

Said it before, I'll say it again. Platy fry are *smart*. You'll probably spot a few over the next week or so. Remember the number you see, then double it, and double it again. that's probably the number that actually survived

Oh Dear. I may have to give them away to all my friends and get them hooked on fish too!! Christmas is just around the corner.

It seems I have 2 batches one is probably 2 weeks older than the other.
Sorry for the bad pics my camera is very old.
The older batch, there are 6 of them.

And the younger ones, there are 9, they really won't hold still for a picture.

Yeah...I know the feeling....it takes dedication to get platy fry of any age to hold still for the camera
