the other day on christmas i got a 10g i got 2 corys and 3 zebra danios what other fish go good with them in a tropical tank oh my tank is meduim planted plz repliy oops one more think i dont have a heater but i haave a powerful light it will keep them warm

you should probably have 6 cories and 6 danios, they do better in groups like that, but i dont know if that would already overstock it.

a heater is essential especially this time of year, if the light is so powerfull it keeps the water warm then it must be a very very powerfull light...... does it heat right down to the lower tank levels? also what happens when the light is not on, what heats the tank then? constant changes in water temp will stress the fish
1 inch per gallon rule for stocking indicates that your tank would be overstocked with 6 corys and 6 danios but they are both not messy fish so it might work but i would suggest that 6 corys may not have enough room to be happy in a tank that size! what are the dimensions of the tank?

When the light turns off, it will cool the tank. They really won't appreciate the temperature fluctuations!

If you want tropical fish or temperate fish, you should get a heater and set it to between 23 and 28 celsius, depending on the species you keep.

Corys and danios need to be kept in groups, so 6 of each is best. After that you won't have much space left. Maybe 3 platys?
