This is getting serious. I just sold three of my boys and then I just happened to bring three girls and one male back home with me... They just keep coming. I will have to buy more aquariums soon

I need to take better pictures tomorrow. Maybe I should make a small tank only for taking photos. Those plastic mugs aren't good for that purpose (best way to use them is to drink something from them).

Nice piggies. :) The curve of the cup actually adds a little more dimention to the picture.

You should get one of those small specimen containers if you want to take a pic. Enough room to move around yet a small/narrow enough area to control the betta's movement. Water height should maybe be about 3 inches. Tall enough for a full-blown flare yet shallow enough so you won't be chasing the betta up and down.

I want to do that when I get a digital camera and then make a collage of the profiles of all my bettas like what a few folks on here do.

BTW - is that a glow-in-the-dark booger on that glass? :fun:  :fun:

J/K!

It's a small piece of duckweed if you mean that green dot =)

They are beautiful additions! You must be very proud! :D

I love them already :)

That male is just a bit stressed, doesn't want to eat much.

I took some pictures of one of my babies (brother of Kelli and Käähkä), Karkki. He is going to be really handsome

OMG
Rain - He is even more gorgeous than b4. You are very Lucky.

He is, the colors and finnage are getting better and better every day :)

He is almost more handsome than Käähkä, the black devil.

I am so happy to have so beautiful babies =)

There arent usually any special bettas around here, so I was quite surprised to find that yellowish female. She looked just normal in the store, mostly blue, not anything special in her, but I sat down and stared at her and the other females for ten minutes until I was sure. She had just a small hint of yellow in her fins... Now she is almost totally greenish yellow :)

There were other females that looked like crowntails, but I just have to wait and see if they really turn out to be CT:s. My friends who works at a fish store saw the black male when the shipment arrived to the store and she called me right away and asked if I wanted it.

That black male eats now. I was a bit worried, but bloodworms did the trick and now he is round bellied and looks happier :)

I feel really lucky :) I also bought 18 amano shrimps, 3 Sturisoma panamense and lots of plants. And an aquarium

I am a very happy girl now.

More pictures of the black gentleman (and the stuff on the bottom is peat):
