This is getting serious. I just sold three of my boys and then I just happened to bring three girls and one male back home with me... They just keep coming. I will have to buy more aquariums soon

I need to take better pictures tomorrow. Maybe I should make a small tank only for taking photos. Those plastic mugs aren't good for that purpose (best way to use them is to drink something from them).

Nice piggies. The curve of the cup actually adds a little more dimention to the picture.

You should get one of those small specimen containers if you want to take a pic. Enough room to move around yet a small/narrow enough area to control the betta's movement. Water height should maybe be about 3 inches. Tall enough for a full-blown flare yet shallow enough so you won't be chasing the betta up and down.

I want to do that when I get a digital camera and then make a collage of the profiles of all my bettas like what a few folks on here do.

There arent usually any special bettas around here, so I was quite surprised to find that yellowish female. She looked just normal in the store, mostly blue, not anything special in her, but I sat down and stared at her and the other females for ten minutes until I was sure. She had just a small hint of yellow in her fins... Now she is almost totally greenish yellow

There were other females that looked like crowntails, but I just have to wait and see if they really turn out to be CT:s. My friends who works at a fish store saw the black male when the shipment arrived to the store and she called me right away and asked if I wanted it.

That black male eats now. I was a bit worried, but bloodworms did the trick and now he is round bellied and looks happier

I feel really lucky I also bought 18 amano shrimps, 3 Sturisoma panamense and lots of plants. And an aquarium

I am a very happy girl now.
