I've just purchase a 60L Setup (after 2 wks research) and I can't wait to get started, I'm obsessed with reading everything about starting out with my tank, I know its small but I hope its enough to begin with. I plan to keep very small schole fish, and real plants.

Thats 15 UK gallons isant it. Thats bigger than my starting tank mine was a 10.
I would get
3-4 cories
5 neons/cardinals
and something for the top reigon. As for plants, you can just pick the ones you like.
Seems like its going to be a nice set up.
Keep us updated!!

he he, im waiting for my 300L tank to mature so i know how you feel :) its really nice to have so much support online and from my LFS! :)

Hi,

I've just started with a very similar sized tank (70L) to you. Its been fun so far, fishy stuff takes up about 80% of my free time. I used TetraAqua 'SafeStart' which my LFS informed me I could put half my full tank of fish in pretty quick. Its been a 5 weeks now and everythings been fine. But just got an outbreak of 'Ich' (whitespot), which i'm treating.

Hope you having fun.

Oops, I didnt mention what i'd actually replied for. Neon tetra are great, they were the first fish i got, they've put up with all my mistakes. I'm recommend them for any newbie. Plus that looks cool when they swim together.

Think thats me done now.........
