Fish Fanatic
This coming weekend I am going to be heading home and to my LFS (the one that is a 5-6hr drive). I'm going to use a bit of my income tax refund for a new set up. I am going to buy a 33 long US g. tank, (48"x13"x12"). I already have lights for it (120w).
I am going to use a DIY CO2 system and either an Eheim or fluval filter. Florite under a layer of sand for the sub.
I am going to plant it up and eventually put Jae barbs and a pair of P. taeniatus into it. Those are the only fish I want in it.
The plants I want to use are going to be almost entirely all green plants. The idea is to make the fish really pop. Being that the fish I want are mostly red, they should.
The only thing I am stuck on is some branched driftwood (to look like an overhanging root) or an idea I have with petrified wood (I love the way it looks).
What would YOU do ... No, I am not going to change the fish!
(I know that I need to say this, I've read your posts people)
