Thank you! I try hard to provide the right info. So I guess everyone makes mistakes and that is how we all learn.
But technically you didn't make a mistake. You suggested people keep their nitrates as low as possible, below 20ppm. That is good advice. Unfortunately not everyone can keep it below 20ppm but in the interests of the fish, and providing them with as good a water source as possible, it is definitely a good bit of advice. Everyone should try to keep their nitrates as low as possible.Thank you! I try hard to provide the right info. So I guess everyone makes mistakes and that is how we all learn.
cheeky buggar. I thought I was the only one who knew everythingAgreed. I used to make mistakes too, until i learned everything.![]()
Well high nitrates will cause a lot of problems with your fish. It's called nitrate poisoning. You need to keep doing the water changes. You really need to lower thos nitrates. Maybe add some live plants and use prime water conditoner. They need to be kept lower then 20ppm, your are very high.
ok from now on she can tell people to keep their nitrates as low as possible and attempt to keep it below 20ppm for optimum fish health
