I Am Very Very Very Worried, Found A Critter In My Tank.

I found 4 of those things in my tank a few weeks ago

. The first one was basically an adult and just chilling on the filter. It was white and I'm assuming was drying it's wings. I found the other 3 younger ones hanging onto the vallis at the top of the tank over the next week. I have removed them all but I keep expecting to find yet another one. I'm just glad I don't have anything smaller than neon tetra in that tank.

I am happy you managed to remove them!
I still have to find this booger in my tank, have been looking a lot in it still no luck!

Try hunting for the pest at night after the lights have been out for a while. Use a torch to search around the tank or just turn the light back on suddenly, the nymph will probably be out hunting under the cover of darkness.
Depending on how it got in the tank, will determine how many more may also be lurking in there.
One of my shrimp tanks had its numbers steadily declining and then I saw a nymph on the glass. After much hunting I got around twenty of the pests out of the tank (and it was only a small tank

), I took great delight in dropping the nymphs into my goldfish pond where I knew the fittest of them would survive but more than likely they would become a protein meal for my goldfish.

Yeah I already tried hunting for them at night, unsuccesfully! Still trying tho! It'll be hard as I do have a lot of plants!!

Not at all, it appears that it is hiding very well!

I open the light every night for 5 minutes to try and look for it, only thing I seem to find is a lot of shrimp and sleepy fishes!

Yeah, you'll probably see it when you least expect it!

Sods Law really!

Keep looking, don't keep flicking lights on and off, I did not do this, I just keep things going as normally and keep searching when lights on at normal times.

Sorry can't be more helpful that that! Would love to come up and help you out but Canada is kinda a long way away from UK!

Hehe thank you!
Yeah I think I'll stop flicking lights as my fish look really depressed when I see them !
It'S frightening!
There's just too much plants for it to hide..
Sunday when I'll be doing my water change I will also be triming a few plants. Hopefully it's in one of those.. :p
