well it has been 2 weeks since I got ernie from CM. and I can't say enough about the quality.... I have noticed some things.... 1 they are far less agressive than than every one says.... the best comparison I feel has been stated by SMB as they are like wet puppie dogs :p :p his colors have been getting better and better, along with berts colors too. 2. today as I observed my fish I noticed that berts fins are turning dark purple almost balck and that ernie has a black stripe that looks almost like he is crying.

yep juan, when I got Cuervo, he was kinda pale not much color to him. But within the first 48 hours or so, he darkened up and his coloring just sems to keep getting better everyday. I just think its amazing!

That's great to hear, juan.

I'm glad you got everything you wanted and am enjoying them. :)

its kind of funny they both recognize me when I am on the side of the tank and both swim over to me, it is when I am in front of the tank that they act normally, God I love them I am hopping that soon they get at the giant danios that are in there with them., I do have one concern though and it has nothing to do with the fish, well maybe a little I have been watching them like I do everynight and I noticed that there are these little red worms that have like little tunnels about 1/4 of an inch below the top of the sand and the tunnels come up to the top. I have noticed that both of them look like they are eating any that they find. I would understand this in my 75 as I was using live insect larva to condition my malawis to breed this summer, but not in my 55 so I am at a dead end as to how they got there.

You have bloodworms (Midge Fly Larva) Free fish food :D

I had them, but my Cories ate them all  Do you use buckets for water changes? If so, you probably got them that way....or at least that's how I did. If you use a python, then that's not it....

It's very possible some Flys simply flew into your house, were attracted to the light on the tank, found water, and layed their eggs. The larva just dropped into the gravel when they hatched.

Let the fish eat them. If you have any Cories, Loaches, or anything like that, they probably won't last long anyway. If they REALLY bug you, sorry, I don't know how to get rid of them....like I said, my Cories did that for me.
