I am so frustrated right now

oh the tupperware is a good idea too. So you think the dwarf platys are the same are they the same to breed too?

probly....rnt all livebearers the same to breed.....ill try to find some info in a bit

Screw those LFS PPL they always lie I dont belive anything they said. I rather do stuff my ways even tho if that bring an end to my fish(but not any more nowadays as experiance build up). Go straight to the fish store and talk to the manager. If they wouldn't give u female back just *&#@ them and never go buy anything from that fish store ever again. Hehe remember its not our lost he just lost a good customer since alot of other fish store r arround.

yeah I will probably just stick with the normal platys. I am currently trying to breed a white calico female with a mickey mouse platy or sunburst to see what I would get, I think it would be cool to see what they would look like

Yeah you probably have the same kind as me they look really cool, but one of my males that is the same color as her doesnt let any other male get next to her so I will just be getting white calico fry once she has them that will probably be sometime later on this afternoon or during the night since she is in labor right now.

The dwarf platies would be the same to breed as ordinary platies but I wouldn't keep them together as they'd likely hybridize (What species are the dwarf platies you are reffering to? If they are the same species then it doesn't matter but if they are something else, you shouldn't let them cross breed.). Also, not all livebearers breed in the same way. They aren't all your typical guppies, platies, swordtails and mollies... There's halfbeaks and limias and goodeids and brachy etc Well I suppose it's all similar but not the same and deffinately not always as easy.
