I ordered 3 dwarf puffers and got them yesterday then noticed 1 had a cottony fungus infection. Then today noticed they were exceding the 1 inch marker and did some research to find out that they are spotted puffers that get 3" long! I wanted little 1" fish. I seriously think that the puffer with the fungal infection will die. also spotted puffers are brackish water fish I have a freswater tank! the puffers I ordered are freshwater! I cannot put salt in my tank because the tank is filled with many expensive plants!

What would you do? I want some replies please

EVEN BETTER news its not a spotted puffer its a green puffer and grows 17 cm long thats 6.7 inches and guess what my mom dont want to take them back! what should I do??? every fish I get grows to big for my tank and its all because of that sleazy pet store man! after this I will never go back!!!!!!!!!!

Why wont your mum take 'em back....

If you point out that they are going to get bigger and need bigger tank, more money, food etc.... wouldn't that help persuade her? If they're going to get too big for your tank you must take them back...

Oh yeah make sure you ask for some compensation for wasitng your time, spending fuel getting there etc. Migh get a forth fish free or if that fails than at least a few bags of bloodworms or food or somma

Tell the fish guy it was a surprise pressy for your old man. That'll speed things along and maybe make the guy feel guilty

i find that kicking up a fuss inside the shop when other ppl (potential customers) are there does a lot of good......if u start shouting that they always get orders wrong and that when u buy fish they are disease ridden then the 'potential buyers' wont wanna shop there and they will loose custom.....u'll find they will soon do anything to shut u up
