Hey, I have 3 too. Agree they're very cute! Bod do you just feed yours on algae wafers or have you found any other foods they like? Mine like peas.

yea mine eat peas too, and some times i put spinach in there and i guess they eat it because it all goes! :D i love seeing there little fat tummys after a good meal make them even cuter

I've seen them in the LFS but the price tag was $34.99 (CDN) per fish. Needless to say, I don't have any.

that's abit heavy but awhile ago they were going for this much (like £15 here in GB). Now you usually see them for sale at around £5 (if that) so you shouldn't be paying more than $10 in the US really...but you never know. :dunno:

If they are $10 US, that would still be about $16 Canadian or so.

Still a little pricey in my opinion, since regular otos are 1.99 or 2.99 ea. If they were $10 Canadian then I'd consider it. And I'd want to see big fat buddha bellies before I bought them, I don't want a $10 fish with a 10% chance of living.

I only own regular ottos, they costed me like 1.29 US a piece and if you buy like 5 or more its 3$US for the whole lot but there is tax on each fish! the zebra ottos cost the exact same but when you buy 5 or more its 4$US plus tax for each fish!
