I have 3 panda corys in my main tank & over the last couple of days one of them seems to have gone hyper on me. He isn't spending much time rooting around like the other two, or freezing when anyone approaches the tank. instead he whizzes round the tank on his own, oblivious to anyone coming close & seems to be behaving more like my danios. I cant see any sign of infection or injury, he's not rubbing or flicking on anything & he is eating.

The tanks details are;

Size: 155 litres
Occupants: 5 mollies, 10 cherry barbs, 9 zebra danios & 3 panda corys
Recent additions: The corys about 3 weeks ago
Amonia: 0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:20
PH: 7.8
Temp 24 deg
Water changes: 20% every 3 days
Short video clip (he arrives @ 7 seconds in to it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f25tu8c_xbQ

I'm wanting to add 3 more pandas at teh weekend but am reluctant to do so if this guy is poorly. Can any of you folks tell me if I have a major problem?

Hi Macko1968 :)

Your panda is perfectly normal. Don't be surprised if the others join him like this:

Thanks for taking the time to reply Inchworm.

I bought some sterbai for my smaller tank on Saturday & they were equally nutty. This morning I've added to my stock of 3 pandas with 4 more & they are all currently playing in the bubble curtain.

I suspect that corys may already be my favorite fish!
