Hi,

My lights in my tank are set on a time clock and I find when they turn of my fish become much more active - particularly the barb.
It keeps swimming up to the pump then taking a ride in the curent. Doing this over and over.
The other fish are also swimming higher in the tank.
Are they stressed for some reason?
Or it may be because I gave them some Myxazin earliar to treat fin rot that a few of my neon tetra's have?
Or is this just normal behaviour?

Thanks

Fishygee

Increased activity when the lights go off is quite normal for lots of fish. My entire tank goes nuts and takes a minute to settle back down.....it is quite a shock to them.

My fish act the same when the lights are out......its just when I turn it back on is when they go crazy
