My tank is 460 litres. Although by the time the substrate etc it is prob holding around 400 litres. I have two tetratec ex1200 filters and currently one 300watt hydro inline heater. My question is: is one heater enough? It is heating the water no problem however I'm worried about it burning out if it has to constantly keep working? Has anyone any experience with these?

I have been running two Hydor inlines on different tanks for about 7 or 8 years now. They both still work fine. One tank is a 50 gallon and the other is a 75 gallon. Both are hooked inline with Eheim Pro II 2026 canisters. I have both a 200 and a 300 watt.

iv been running the 200w one on my 55G for a few years now with no issues at all. I wouldnt worry about it.
