Hydra?

I think it's a variant of vorticella apparently many others have had this species and struggled to identify it too. Though this is going off other peoples verdicts in other places from previous posts/reddits etc. I've added a picture from the webs which is pretty darn close to mine. My only concern is Shoto underwent salt medication recently (well about 2-3 weeks ago now, will it not harm him to go through another?

I did a little digging last night, and I inspected the potential hydra a little further and I think I jumped to conclusions. Now with a sober mind on the case I believe that they are a form of bryozoa, as for the other smaller critters I have no idea.

I apologise for the quality of the pictures but taking photo's of microscopic things isn't my forte, in fact, I'm not even good at taking pictures of large objects haha.View attachment 142268View attachment 142269

Those look like hydra to me. Mainly I’m basing it on how they are stuck to the glass. Look at your decor and plants, they’ll be all over those too. As well as in your filter. Like another person said, dog dewormer is what you need. Fenbendezole is what you are looking for. The catch is most come in powder form, and it doesn’t dissolve in water very well. So it’s good to make a liquid solution. Take 10oz of tank water, mix in 1/4-1/2 tsp of the powder, shake it till you can’t shake it anymore. Then dose that liquid 1oz per 10 gallons.

I really don't think they're hydra, their "stems" are way to stumpy and they seem to be less spindly. These guys are more like "fans" as opposed to a hydra's "tree" like look.

I'll still be treating but I'll probably stick to a salt bath when Shoto has had time to adjust.

I just took another look at Hydra, unless there's a variant I'm not seeing, it isn't a Hydra.

I'm pretty sure it's not a cyclops, I just took about loads of pictures and managed to get this.

It's not hydra. There is another thread on here with the same thing.
