Hydra in Aquarium

I recently bought two Angelfish, and with them came hydra.
It is a 100 gallon, with very few fish.
Is there a fish or invertebrate that would eat hydra?

There are many fish that will

Siamese Algae Eater
Dwarf Chain Loach
Bristle Nose Pleco
Many barbs (but can be nippy)
Guppies

Is it because the tank is overrun ?

They aren’t harmful unless you are dealing with very small fry/baby shrimp, and won’t proliferate unless you’re overfeeding.

They live on live prey only... Unless your overfeeding, feeds something on their menu, they have very low chances in the long run.

I just put the angelfish in there, and there are also a few endler guppies, and a pleco. Very understocked for a 100 gallon.
I am still getting used to running this tank, so so far I have been overfeeding by mistake.
This is day two so far.

Not... "The tank was filled yesterday, and today I added the fishes.." scenario...

The tank has been up for longer. It is able to handle what has been put in it.

Most fish won't touch hydra unless the fish are starving.

As others have mentioned, they aren't a big issue unless you want to breed fish. Then you treat the tank with salt (2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres of water for 2 weeks) or copper to kill the hydra.
