Hungry Black Ghost Knife Fish

This is my BGKF, eating a chunk of king prawn from my hand. For scale, the gourami is at least 3" not including tail.

Fantastic looking fish,

Can you feed frozen prawn? (thawed) to your fish? sorry for the doh!? but just new to aquarium keeping and doing our best with pea-nut sized fish knowlege.

Can you feed frozen prawn? (thawed) to your fish?

That's exactly what I do. I always have a bag of frozen king prawns, and feed him/her/it about half a prawn a day (thawed in tank water then chopped a bit).

Some fish like it, others don't. I've found my pearl gouramis like it too (as you can see in the vid), but the problem is that prawn sinks (my gouramis never feed off the substrate).

Give it a go with a small bit chopped into tiny tiny bits and see if anyone eats it.
