Hungry acf

I had one ADF die because he wasn't eating enough, and eventually he kept gettin sucked into the filter and broke his legs and died. i got a new one along with an ACF though. i don't think my ACF is getting enough food, he's nervous of his tankmates. ironicly because once he gets bigger im sure they will be the ones nervous of him. but if he doesn't eat he's never going to get bigger so does anyone have any tips on how to make sure they're fed?

I use a turkey baster to feed mine.That way I get the food right to where he can find it.He's learned to recognize me and watches my every move.When he see the baster now he comes right to it and eats to his little hearts content.It takes a bit of patience and practice but it's definitely worth the effort
