Hello

wondering if you can help.

I've just had a whitespot outbreak which I've treating with protozin. All the other fish seem to be fine now, but my humbug catfish which usually hides under a log is now sitting in the middle of the tank and his eyes are all gazed over, they look like they are totally covered in plastic. He seems to be breathing a lot heavier as well.

Any help would be greatley appreciated.

Last water change was yesterday after the last of the white spot treatment and all the levels appear to normal. It's a 3 ft tank. I have 5 zebra danios, 4 red eye tetras, 2 silver tipped tetras, 2 golden rams, 3 clown loaches, and 3 bronze cory's.

cheers

Do you mean the eyes look cloudy.
Can we take a look at your stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
How many gallons is the tank or litres.

i wouldn't have said they look cloudy, they just look like they are covered over with something. Will give the water another stat test in a mo when my friends leave.... if they leave.... we're a bit addicted to looking at the moon at the moment, it's looking cool. :)

tank is approx 120 litres.

Do they sounds like this.
Cataracts. White or grey "foggy" eyes. ...

Sounds like a juwel tank is it, and do you only run the one filter.
How big are the clown loaches as the tanks to small for them.

definately more towards something like that moreso then cloudy. I tried to take a photo, but my camera phone won't get up close enough, i'll try again in a bit.

it's a clearseal. There's a fluval 4 in there at the moment with an extra air stone at the momen as my eheim has borked and i didn't want to put it back on until I'd finished the white spot treatment.

the clowns are approx 2" at the moment.

Ok thats fine, need to look at stats though.
A pic might help usually cloudy eye is bad water quality, parasites to bacterial infections, old age irratation, poor diet.
Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in its self, can show with whitespot.
Wondering if the meds knocked your water stats as that might explain it.

Ok test your water then go from there.
