Well, when you do trap him be sure he doesn't see who you are, it won't help to socialise him.

He knows who I am. I'm actually the only one he goes near to. I know it wont help him come back to me again if he knows I did that though. He wont be seeing me for that reason.
He is not THAT feral. He won't let me carry him or pet him that much. He won't let me bring anything near him that is not on me...like blankets, cages, collars , flea meds (which he got anyways), or anything of that sort. Most of the time all he wants from me is food. He'll have his moments when he is really sweet...but he always tries to slap me with his paw. And his nails are not nice to me...but I've gotten better at not letting him do that.
I plan to try to socialize him enough so he can be an indoor cat too. Since he was born outside and wont even go near my door when it's open, I know it's going to be a challenge if I can get it done at all. But getting him neutered and getting his shots are going to be good enough for now.
He is the black kitty on my signature for anyone that wants to know. I think he's between 4-6 months..maybe 7.
