I don't know if you've mentioned this but are they veiltails? If they are not and you really want them to breed I suggest you read the pinned topic on breeding. If you're not thinking of breeding them, I again suggest that you remove either the female or the male.
 
would you like to breed them? if you do then yeah read the pined topic and get a breeding tank pluss another one for when they have spawned for the male once's the eggs have hatch and are free swimming.
 
You're going to have to separate the male and female first and condition them for about 2 weeks.
 
And they were not ment for breeding although my fish club said theyed be ok and probaly breed.I've breed fighters before and i've keeped them together in a smaller tank happly together

I actully did keep them and breed them in a smallish tank and they lived for 4 years together breeding once every 2-3 months via my conditioning.Thanks for the
help,You guys are very helpful :D
