How’s the weather?

The weather outside has officially lost the plot.

72 degrees
Sunshine
Persistently downpouring

All at the same time. Even the birds are confuzzled.....along with the neighbourhood cats and the barking mad mutt next door called Elvis.

Been dry and hot here for weeks, but got a downpour at my house yesterday, 1.5 inches in just under an hour

Rained here again today...my yard is a swamp...no chance of getting the lawn done tomorrow...and of course, the dogs will be stuck in the house all weekend...sigh

Oh, I didn't realize you had a lawn maintenance business...full time, part time?...Summertime, when it rains, lol

Thing is, this rain is sporadic right now, nearby towns have barely gotten any...the last two days, it's dumped on me at home, though...I bet we got another inch at least this morning

I can deal with it, I just like to stay on schedule with getting my yard done, weekly, on Saturdays...M-F, I'm too tired to do anything after work

I'll deal with it....it's hurricane season, after all...I can handle minor weather inconveniences (deadly heat/humidity, and the mosquitos), as long as we are spared again this year (prays)

I would say part time.
In summer I mow
Autumn I do leaf removal and in winter I shovel. Helps pay for the hobby ;-)

Indeed, it does...nice for young people nowadays to get outside and be physically active, good for the body AND soul...if I may

The Playstation/Xbox/Texting/Tic Tac Toe can wait til later

Agreed. I dont play video games. I prefer a nice walk in the woods :)

I play a computer game where I get to hunt people in the woods
There used to be a computer game called "Deer's Revenge" or something like that. It was a FPS where you're a deer who has gotten fed up and started hunting people. The only thing I remember about it was that the "human call" was this really sexy sounding lady's voice saying, "I have free pizza!" Something like that. Sounds like your kind of thing.

If you ever want a crazy read, try "The Tiger" by John Vaillant. It's a true story about a Siberian tiger that gets wounded by poachers and decides to turn the tables. Not recommended bed-time reading (gave me really weird dreams), but an excellent read.

That has to be the funniest game concept I've heard 🤣
